How many of you lived in Jacksonville back in the early 60's? If you did you will remember how long it took to get power back on. I lived in Hollywood when Andrew came through. My parents were without power for about two weeks. Dade county was hit very hard and had a lot of homes and businesses with out power. They did the same thing there that they are doing here. Nursing homes, assisted living home and then the largest area's population wise that had no power. The small areas are always the last to get restored. Give them time and they will get to you.
