JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Water Taxi is returning with service for Jaguars game days.

The new owner of the cross-river ferry, Michael McDaniel, tells Action News says several boats will operate, with drop-offs every 20 to 25 minutes. When the Jaguars play, service will start three hours before game time and run three hours after the final whistle.

Regular ticket prices will be $3 for an adult on a one-way fare. Kids and seniors will be charged $2. Round-trip fares are double the normal prices. Special-event passes start at $5 for adults and $4 for kids and seniors. Children younger than 10 years old require an adult companion.
