Jacksonville's politicians are showing their welfare mentality. The city's leaders say the city can't afford the "needs" but they seem to be able to find money for the "wants". Vote them all out next time.

The city cannot afford to adequately fund vital services like adequate police patrols or fire and rescue coverage--but they can put $43 million dollars into a stadium that will primarily benefit a football team? The taxpayers should not be funding this--and using tax revenues from the hotels is taking those revenues from other services. Take a lesson from Detroit.
