JACKSONVILLE, Fla.-- Big Cat fans across the Jacksonville sounded off Thursday.

"It's business. I just think the Jags had to revamp everybody," Lani Stewart said.

"He didn't really have the talent based around him, so I think they should have gave him another year to see what he could do before they changed ships like that," Louis Ettiene said.

Some say they've done their part and stuck by the Jags...now it's the team's job to hold up their end of the bargain.

Nonetheless...we found a good number who were empathetic.

"We've had a lot of people sad that he's gone. They think he should have at least got another year," Sports Mania employee Shannon Griffis said.

Stewart...who's a fan of the Buffalo Bills where Mularkey once coached...said she saw today coming long ago.

"When I found out he was coming to the Jaguars, I told my family and friends he'd be here for one year and be let go," she said.

Love him or hate him...surprised or not...the bottom line is fans around the city have to move on.

Joshua allen believes it's just what Jaguars Nation needs.

"I think it's a good direction. New energy. New faces."
