Jags sign another running back to training camp squad
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Jaguars make two roster moves ahead of Friday's scrimmage game.
The Jags boosted their running back depth by adding Keith Toston. The 6'0" 214 pound rusher spent the 2010 season with the St. Louis Rams where he played all 16 games as an undrafted rookie.
He gained 54 yards on 19 carries and had two catches for 29 yards on the season. He was waived last season during final cuts.
Toston spent his collegiate career at Oklahoma State where he amassed 2,757 rushing yards and scored 27 times. The Cowboy was a first-team All-Big 12 selection as a senior after finishing second in the conference with 1,218 yards.
He attended Angleton High School in Texas, where he was a finalist for the Old Spice National High School Player of the Year award as a senior.
The Jags also made a move in the receiving department. Tight end Gijon Robinson was released.
