JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Jaguars introduced their first-round draft pick to Jaguars nation this afternoon.

During a news conference at EverBank Field, Joeckel discussed family life with his twin brother, who is a quarterback, and his sister, as well as expectations with his new team.

Joeckel says he's used to being on a winning team and looking forward to coming in and aiding his team members and helping them win.

Jaguars General Manager Dave Caldwell and head coach Gus Bradley say they picked Joeckel because he was a great pass blocker.

Joeckel says he's ready to work but that he does want to finish his business degree at Texas A & M University.

Joeckel also addressed the many comparisons to Jaguars legend Tony Boselli. He says he exchanged texts with Boselli during the night of the draft. He says he's looking forward to meeting with Boselli to have lunch and talk football.
