JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Jaguars had momentum going into halftime when linebacker Paul Posluszny took a Peyton Manning pass into the end zone for six points to pull the Jaguars to within two points.

But the Broncos (6-0)  returned to form in the second half and rolled to a 35-19 win over the Jaguars (0-6).

Denver opened the 3rd quarter with a score to extend the lead to 21-12.

The Jaguars answered with a touchdown drive of their own.  Maurice Jones-Drew punched it in from a few yards out to pull Jacksonville back within two points, 21-19.

The Broncos returned to the end zone with two short TD runs by Knowshon Moreno to extend the lead, 35-19.  Henne had several passes tipped and ultimately intercepted, ending any chance of a comeback.

The final score is much closer than what many expected.

The national media, oddsmakers in Vegas and just about everyone else has the Jaguars as huge underdogs.

Everyone but the Jaguars.

"I've been an underdog my whole life," said Maurice Jones-Drew, the Jaguars running back who is coming off his best game of the season with 70 rushing yards against the St. Louis Rams.

The Jaguars believe if they stick to the game plan and build on what they've learned the last five weeks, they have a chance.

"We had a good passing attack last week," said Jaguars quarterback Chad Henne. "We just got to take one play at a time and take what they give us."

The Jaguars have to get the running attack going to help control the ball and keep the high-powered offense of the Broncos off the field.

It's not an easy task. Jack Del Rio's defense is number one against the rush.

The Achilles heel for the Broncos may be its overall defense. It's allowing 417 net yards per game -- 347 of those yards are through the air.

But through the air is how the Broncos have been winning.

Peyton Manning set NFL records for touchdowns (20), completion percentage (75.8) and QB rating (136.4) through the first five games of the season.

The Broncos are riding a 16-game regular season winning streak. And Denver is off to a 5-0 start for the sixth time in team history. Four of those trips ended in the Super Bowl.

The Jaguars know they are up against a legend in Manning.

"He's like a coach on the field," said Jaguars wide receiver Cecil Shorts III.

"Sometimes I think Peyton just understands what you're doing before you even know what you're doing," said Jaguars defensive tackle Sen'Derrick Marks.

The Jaguars know they just have to make him uncomfortable.

"It's Peyton Manning, he's going to be the guy who makes plays. That's not the thing we're looking at. How we can create plays and try to create a turnover for such a great quarterback like him," said Jaguars safety Josh Evans.

The last time the Jaguars went into Denver as underdogs, they came home with a win in the 1996 playoffs.

well another loss! but the offense only scored 1 touchdown in 4 quarter's. 2 field goal's. defense scored a touchdown. a lot of passing yard's but not getting into the end zone. too many stupid penalty's. need a offensive minded coach. quality player's. my oh my 10 loss's in a row? what do's it tell you about the team and player's. sad team for sure.
