JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Jaguars promoted rookie defensive end Ryan Davis from the practice squad and signed fifth-year wide receiver and return specialist Micheal Spurlock to the 53-man roster.

First-year offensive lineman Daniel Baldridge and third-year defensive end Aaron Morgan were waived from the roster to make room for the two new starters.

Davis, a former Bethune-Cookman player, was signed as an undrafted rookie by the Jaguars back in May. He will wear jersey number 59.

Spurlock is no stranger to the league having played for Arizona, Tampa Bay, San Francisco, and San Diego. During his 6 year NFL career, he has returned two kickoffs for touchdowns, one punt return for a touchdown, and has racked up 294 receiving yards.

Spurlock will wear number 86.
