Jaguars take home win in Indianapolis
INDIANAPOLIS, IN.--The Jacksonville Jaguars broke into the win column in a big way with a 22-17 win over the Indianapolis Colts. Blaine Gabbert hit Cecil Shorts with an 80 yarder on the first play of the drive after the Colts took the lead leaving 45 seconds to sweat out the victory. This time the defense held off the Colts for win.
Gabbert finishes 10 of 21 for 155 yards and a touchdown. Maurice Jones-Drew started the second half with a 59 yard touchdown run and finished with 177 yards on 28 carries.
This is a complete team win. Mike Mularkey presented Jaguars owner Shad Khan with the game ball after his first win as an owner.
The Jaguars are now 1-2 and host Cincinnati next Sunday at Everbank Field.
