hey "change" u speak of the golden rule.. they dont even teach that any more, hell I've worked with young people 18-25 or 30 ,never even heard of the golden rule...........

I feel for the loss of the family. No one should die over loud music. We all have had endure that kind stuff. Where someone pulls up to a gas station forcing everyone within 3 blocks to listen to their music. Instead of turning the music back down as courtsey to everyone they feel " we must listen" to their music. No one else has any rights. After all if we don't like music so loud we can't t hink straight that is our fault. Our music should not be played loud but certain types now intentionally play it loud cause they can scream racism if anyone says anything. I belive in the golden rule to some extent. I keep my music down when I pull into a gas station as courtsey to others treating them the same way I would want myself treated. We need to see if there is security cammeras at that store then get them to release the video. It makes no sense to flee the scene of a murder and not rush to hospital. Some of you have said the driver of the SUV vech was a former criminal if that is true why has the news not reported that. The driver claims that they was afraid the gunman might return if that was true they would rushed their friend at danger speed with blinkers flashing to the hospital rather than come back and sit and wait.

this attempt by the media to make this kid into a martyr is absolutely disgusting!! all the facts have not come out and it appears to anyone capable of critical thinking that the boy acted in an aggressive manner that caused the shooter to shoot him. IMHO he was a thug wannabe who was trying to get some cred with a paroled convict he was hanging with, and he got shot acting the fool. his father's exploitation of the boy's murder for financial gain is also a disgusting show, if the father took the same level of interest in the boy's life when he was living maybe he would have been taught to be respectful to others and maybe he would have not caused his own death by playing thug in that gas station. this is a sad story and anyone who would glorify this thug wannabe is a sad person, and that goes more than double for the MAYOR

You are all very welcome and joewW07 what you said is a VERY VALID QUESTION for the defense. Why didn't they take him to the emergency room? I am pretty sure the fact is THEY DITCHED A SHOTGUN as Dunn stated and when they realized their friend was shot they panicked and went back. In case some don't know it, THUGS, as this driver is, are NOT very smart. AND I have another question, how come EVERT TIME I see Jordan Davis's Dad's picture in the news, HE IS SMILING FROM EAR TO EAR? No matter how I let MY 17 year old minor son or daughter get killed because they should have been home with me instead of with convicted career criminal thug, I WOULD NOT OR COULD NOT EVER SMILE AGAIN. I would have failed my teen, and the BLAME would fall on my own conscience, and my heart would be too broke to try to start crap about taking EVERYONE'S guns away.

Live like a thug die like a thug....I can't believe that they are going to name a day after him..We do not know who is telling the truth here..It just could be that Jordan started this and Dunn finish it.. The Driver of the car was on probation for 3 counts felony B&E..If he was at home instead of being out pasted his curfew, this might not have happen..What I do not understand is why the driver is not in jail for violating his probation..They even left the scene, them they came back and park in the same spot before calling the police. Why didn't they take their friend to the hospital...They just let him die...I hope I don't have friends like that...The story has to many holes in it...

Oh, I have no doubt he has had many 'incidents' where guns were involved. What I don't understand is why you keep showing his picture in his GANG pose? EVERYONE KNOWS THAT TO COVER ONES MOUTH IS THE GANG SIGN THAT STATES YOU WILL NOT SQUEAL ON YOUR PEEPS.(people). You must think we are all stupid out here.
