How many of you read and believe what you see in Jet? If you tell the truth when questioned, almost all of you won't serve because your mind is closed. You've already decided the case. It would be better if America followed the British example: no press coverage until after the trial. WIth all the publicity, I wouldn't want to be the assistant state attorney trying this case.

@nativejax...I AGREE with you a %100...well said... I don't understand why the SAO as yet violated the driver (Tommie Strones)of SUV for probation violation.

They have already stated the driver had a criminal record, need I say more? If you allow you kids to hang with 'thugs' then you should 'accept' whatever happens to your child because of you poor parenting...period. I am tired of hearing these young aggressive thugs running the streets UNSUPERVISED and the when they get caught up in a 'situation' afterward, they cry and whine 'foul' to cover their their azzes. NOT one minute do I think the driver of this SUV just 'sat there' and said nothing when he was asked to turn down his radio. He said or did something to Dunn to 'AGGRAVATE' and/or THREATEN him. This Dunn is NOT FROM HERE, but he(and the rest of the Nation) must have watched the news and read about the TERRORIZING THUGS OF JACKSONVILLE who 'roam' the streets breaking the law DAILY here and he 'over reacted' to the situation. In which I feel Dunn should pay for, but so should the driver of the SUV. (My opinion and I'm sticking to it). Sad situation all the way around. The OBamaites and Liberals want to 'hype' this and all cases like this up to take away our Constitutional Right to own and carry guns, while thugs walk around freely with them, "will not fly with me". I seen through this facade long ago and I know if they keep trying to 'disarm' women in this Country, we will be attacked like the women in India are. Or they way women have been attacked in Africa for generations, they will never get my gun or my daughters or granddaughters, not while I'm alive.

Jet has to do something to sell it magazines..Why don't they post the truth...I am wondering why the driver was not charged with murder too. If he was on probation and it was pasted his curfew, then he was commiting a crime. In Florida if you are commiting crime and somebody dies then you are charge with murder. If I was the father, I would be suing the State of Florida for letting this guy drive around unsupervised. If he was out past curfew then he is VOP and should be in jail like the shooter....

This whole incident started out as tragic. The media has played the whole black martyr killed be evil firearms thing up so much that now I am sick of hearing about it. As usual the media has tuned it into a joke.

I seen people steroype bums and homeless as bad people based on how they dressed. What I keep hearing its ok for someone to act agressive with you play their music so damn loud you can't think straight and if they black that is ok. You had better not say anything if you white is the attitude. As I have said before if the station has security cammeras and they all do to prevent drive offs and crime from happening. Release the video un edited and let the public see what happened. What the hell good is having cammeras on every corner if the public does not get to see the "truth".

The SUV tried to leave but he kept shooting at them. Dunn finally left but the SUV never got to leave because he kept shooting as they were trying to leave. If they really had a shotgun, don't you think Dunn would be dead too. The shotgun crap makes no sense because anyone with a gun would have actually shot back. He's a liar and it doesn't matter how this teen dressed it doesn't make him a bad person. When a teen girl is raped do people say look what she had one...today they dress like hookers but it doesn't give anyone the right to hurt them.

Can we also get a picture from the gas station of what he looked like as well? Somehow I dont picture it as clean cut teen that looks like this. I understand he is dead, but we need current pictures of actually how he looked not pictures desgined to say that poor poster boy of GQ. IF he did look and dress like that the time of the shooting raises serious concerns in my mind.

This article is serious misleading. The defense has said that the SUV left the scene of the crime with the body in it then returned. Now why would someone take off with dead body in their SUV stay gone a short time then come back? Could it be something was in the SUV that the driver did not want police to find? On the other hand the shooter fled as well and he did not return. I would still like the news to do their job and get copies of the FULL video survillance by the store and post it completely undedited and un cut. Not for some kick but to see what happened and make an informed decision as to whether it was murder or an argument that got out control. Why not ask both sides to take polygraph as well the driver of the SUV to determine why he left the scene and to find out why the guy who said it was self defense fled the scene as well.
