JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A memorial tonight at the Andrew Jackson High stadium honored a local young woman who was killed in an accidental shooting.

It has been a tough two years for Kalil McCoy's family. It was June 2011 when she was riding in a car with four of her friends.

Several young men were handling a gun when it went off, killing the 20-year-old. The others then dumped her body.

Frederick Wade was sentenced to life in prison for McCoy's murder.

The family has announced a lawsuit against Wade, the three young men who pleaded guilty to accessory after the fact and Wade's aunt who owned the SUV they were riding in.

some slick lawyer thinks he can get someone's auto insurance is all... a shame it happened, yet policies all carry disclaimers that they won't pay for acts of stupidity, involving alcohol,weapons,crimes.. so rots of ruck with your lawsuit...
