JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A suspected purse snatcher is in jail, thanks to one feisty woman and a sharp-eyed teenager

According to police, a man tried to steal a 64-year-old woman's purse as she walked to her car at Rowe's Supermarket on Blanding Boulevard.

The man drove up next to the woman and tried to grab her purse.

The woman told police that she looked at the man and said, "Oh, hell no, mother------!" and began fighting him for her purse.

The man started to fall out of his truck. He let go of the purse and sped off.

A teenager witnessed the ordeal and gave police a description of the truck. Police pulled the truck over at Catoma and Timuquana Road and detained the driver, who was later positively identified by the victim and the witness.

The suspect has been identified as Corey Bowman, 33. Police believe he's a suspect in a second purse snatching on 105th Street. A woman on a bicycle had her purse stolen.

Good for this teen! And thankfully when this lady started fighting back for her purse she didn't get seriously hurt. It's thugs like this that make me wish I had been born a 6'5" foot muscleman, I would enjoy pounding the stupid thug right out of him.
