GREEN COVE SPRINGS, Fla. -- A man from Clay County was convicted of sexually abusing children for years.
Leo Charles Bettey Jr. was convicted Friday afternoon on four counts of sexual battery.
Authorities say Bettey sexually abused two girls between 2010 and 2012. Authorities were alerted to the abuse after one of the victims told her mother that Bettey inappropriately touched her.
Bettey will be sentenced March 21, 2013.
