Changing the name of a school! This is a stupid and wasteful move. My children and grandchildren have graduated from N.B. Forrest High School. There is nothing wrong with the school's name. If this is permitted, where will it stop. If the NAACP and other organizations want a change...THEY should pay all costs for the change, NOT the taxpayers. It seems this city leaders find all kinds of money for their pet projects and travels, including their pay and benefits. Don't you think the taxpayers of Jacksonville are really tired of the city leaders "TAX AND SPEND" actions. Let's put a stop to all your waste....start taking care of all the safety and maintenance needs of this city. A concerned citizen and taxpayer.
