LAKE CITY, Fla. -- The Lake City Police Department is looking for two men they say robbed a gas station at gunpoint Thursday night.

According to LCPD the two men entered the Stop N' Go at 1263 N.W. US 90 at 9:58 p.m. and demanded money from the register while one of the men struck the clerk over the head with a gun.

Police say Darshik Gandhi was taken to the hospital to be treated for his injuries but was later released.

Investigators say the men were dressed in all black. One suspect is described as a thin built man wearing a black long-sleeved shirt, black shorts, black shoes and wore a black cloth over his face.

The second suspect is described as a heavy-set man wearing black pants, a black long-sleeved shirt, black shoes and a ski mask.

According to police, both the men were armed with guns.

After taking the money police say the two fled on foot heading north on N.W. Gwen Lake Boulevard.

Lake City Police and Columbia County Sheriff's Deputies responded to the scene and used a K-9 unit from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission to search the area for the suspects, but neither of the men were found.

Police say the two are at-large and should be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information regarding this robbery is urged to call the TIP line anonymously at 386-719-2068 or contact the Lead LCPD Investigator, Sgt. Paul Kash at 386-758-5422.
