Lake City police looking for bank robbery suspect

LAKE CITY, Fla. -- The Lake City Police Department says a bank robbery suspect is on the loose.

At about noon on Monday, police responded to the Bank of America at 2357 W U.S. Highway 90 in reference to a robbery.

A man entered the bank, walked up to a teller and demanded money. The suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. No one was injured.

The suspect is described as a white male between 6'0-6'2", 40-50 years old, possibly wearing a wig. He was wearing a dark blue shirt and dark blue pants and a brace on his left wrist.

Police canvassed the area but were unable to locate the suspect.
