Lanes open after 8-car pileup on I-295 between U.S. 17 and Blanding Boulevard
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Traffic is flowing again after a multi-car pileup on I-295 northbound toward Orange Park. This is happening in the construction zone between U.S. 17 and Blanding Boulevard.
Action News Derrick Odom says Road Ranger crews are reporting the crash involves eight cars, and police and fire rescue crews are on the scene.
At least five people have been hurt, but the extent of their injuries is not known.
