You all are a bunch of LIARS if you get on here and say that, after being abused constantly until you felt helpless and your back was against the wall, YOU WOULDN'T DO SOMETHING CRAZY OR STUPID, TO BE ABLE TO SEE YOUR YOUR KIDS AND MAKE SURE THEY ARN'T BEING ABUSED TOO? NO one has walked in her shoes, she made a STUPID mistake, she didn't try or did she hurt anyone...she just wanted the CRAP he was doing to stop. I would have shot the creep.

There is evidence of abuse by her ex husband. Stand you ground law does apply. Firing a warning shot at some who has attacked you in the past, and people here argue she should took a plea deal? Bet if it was one you guys who had someone approaching them on the street and threatening you building up to attack and they obviously can over power and hurt or kill you there would be at least a warning shot if not more. She committed no offense other than having enough beatings in her life. Of course the police judging her here let a man go for killing someone cyber café because he dropped his loaded weapon and defend that. In my training in the military concealed weapon does not equal a loaded gun with no safety in your pocket. It should been in concealed holster. Bet you guys defend the 3 ex police officers caught on video tape killing that young boy that went to boot camp as well. After all only ex cops and current cops should be allowed to get away with murder everyone else must pay for it with 30 years or so.

She does not deserve a full pardon because she is guilty of a crime but I believe her sentence was too long for the crime she committed. Sadly Ms. Alexander was offered a plea deal and she refused to accept it, which is why she got the sentence she did. Still in some cases armed robbers and murders get a lot less time in prison, which is why there are so many violent crimes in this country. I personally know of a kid who robbed 4 stores using a handgun but he served less than 5 years in prison because of a plea deal. My feeling on the subject is there shouldn’t be any plea deals with violent repeat offenders, keep them in jail for life or better yet execute them if they have been convicted of three or more violent crimes. I would bet that would put a bite in number of violent crimes being committed by repeat offenders.

The first step to a pardon is admitting to the offense, which she will not do.

I Pray she does get pardon, but it wouldn't hurt if we flood Gov. Scott's emails with a few letters to TELL him he should. She has been through enough from her sorry ex and Angela Corey in my opinion.

Considering the circumstance she should be exonerated but prohibited from handling a gun for 20 years. She did not receive justice. I would like to have been able to watch her trial as was the case with Travyon Martin. Seems to me she had the worst defense representing her in the world. You can beat a person to many time to the point where all they want to do is lash out like an animal and defend themselves to say enough is enough. Trayvon was thug, yet this woman only crime seems to have been having enough beatings in her life.

Absolutely!!!!!! She should be pardoned! The only problem I have is that she didn't kill him! If he beat her like she said, she shouldn't have given him a warning!! She should have protected herself!!
