Leaders call on Gov. Scott to extend early voting

ORANGE PARK, Fla.-- Only one more day to cast your ballot early in Florida and the Southern Christian Leadership Conference isn't happy about it. In fact, the group is calling on Governor Rick Scott to step up and get involved.

I think everyone should just agree on what's an appropriate amount of time someone should have to wait to vote. 1 hour, 2 hours, 3 hours. Then whenever those times are expected to be exceeded, more hours, locations, and days should be added. No one should have to wait longer to vote then they do at the DMV. What was the reason given for cutting 14 days of early voting down to 8? This country is founded on democracy and i think that process should be made as easy as possible.
