ORANGE PARK, Fla. -- St. James A.M.E. Church is doing what come naturally in times of disaster -- donating to those in need.

The church is filling a bus with donations for the victims of the tornadoes in Oklahoma and will deliver the assistance to those, who in some cases, escaped the storms with only the clothes on their backs.

Items that the church is accepting are diapers of all sizes, water, canned goods, hygiene products and non-perishable items.

St. James A.M.E. Church is located at 535 Mcintosh Ave. in Orange Park.

Collection hours are between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

If you have questions about the drive, contact the church directly at 904-278-7037.

The American Red Cross is also accepting donations 24 hours a day. To donate, text the word REDCROSS to 90999 to give $10 to American Red Cross Disaster Relief.
