The math does not add up. Just because they are both affected it is still just 20% of their individual or combined income.

The worst thing about this furlough is the fact that the people who caused this problem, the politicians, aren't suffering any of the consequences of their poor decision making, leadership and management skills. They haven't lost a penny in this whole downturn. Remember that during the elections next year and in 2016. Also, ditto on what "tlynn" wrote. If less than one third of the people in this country get out and vote, then the two thirds who can't get off of their dead, ignorant butts have nothing to complain about and deserve what they get.

The squeaky wheel gets the grease…Sounds to me like you need to be complaining over and over again…Loud and clear to your Senate and Congress people. And DO NOT forget to VOTE!!! Our country has one of the worst voting records in the world…Yet all we seem to do is complain! Be the one that improves our record of voter turnout!
