JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Police say a man accused of killing a local 18-year-old mother had been deported twice from the United States.

Neighbors say they saw Jose Valle-Jimenez leave an apartment complex in the San Pablo area just 40 minutes before a family member discovered the body of his wife, 18-year-old Rosa Garcia. After vanishing from the scene, police say they tracked him to Palm Beach County, hiding out at his sister's  house.

U.S. Customs officials deported him from the United States twice. Once for domestic violence in California and a second time in Texas for being an undocumented immigrant.

Action News asked Stephen Davis, a  local attorney, how he was able to obtain a job at a restaurant, buy a vehicle and live in an apartment complex, all after multiple deportations.

He says, "They could have fake IDs, there are fake green cards out there that people buy. There are fake Social Security numbers and the government is trying to crack down."

Davis says this case proves why immigration reform is needed. Without a change in law, he says there's no easy way for the government to keep track of immigrants.

Valle-Jimenez is set to be extradited back to Duval County to face murder charges.

Its all about money, the car dealer wanted money, apartment complex wanted money, the 18yr old women problem illegal too wanted money, food, apt. It all comes down to money. No one really cares if he illegal or a criminal till something horrific happens like this. Than people got something to say. GOV EMPLOYEES get paid BIG Salaries here in jax and ovetime at the Immigration office to sit on there butts and do what???

"They could have fake IDs, there are fake green cards out there that people buy. There are fake Social Security numbers and the government is trying to crack down." Baloney!!! Our government isn't trying to crackdown. These are budding Democrat voters.
