JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Angie's Subs helped a good samaritan feed the homeless when Jimmy John's refused! This statement is very inflamitory to a very good owned and operated Franchise, Jimmy John's. Remember your local owned and operated businesses are just your local citizens trying to maintain and operate under the guidelines of their Franchise! Your negative comments only hurt local businesses. FOX 30..... WAY TO GO IN SUPPORTING YOUR LOCAL BUSINESSES !!! ....Just tacky on your part!

Why in the world would you report a negative just to report your positive? News reporting has gotten caught up in negativity today. This kind of reporting doesn't help business owners trying to make it in this day and time. I'm sure there are alot of people out there that feel this was unfarely reposted just for your veiwing audeiance! Craving negativity.Shame Shame Shame

This is all BS! Someone just wanting to make a name for themselves! If they really cared about the poverty and homelessness, then they would be doing so much more….Without the recognition!

Chris Canty low was trying to do something good for our community downtown is part of our community as is Jax beach I'm sorry that he didn't go to the part of town that you would perfer. I love how people always try to find the negative in a situation... yes Jimmy Johns said 1 per customer he was very clear that he was giving them away 2 separate people. Yes it was their choice not to give back to the community with their store is located. If you were to check out Chris is page on Facebook not once does it say anything negative about Jimmy Johns the only thing he was doing was thinking Angie's subs for stepping up and helping our community. for people to be on here saying shame on Chris and shame on the news what shame on you because what have you done to support your community today besides complain about how long it takes you a regular customer to get off so that and she's so disappointed in our city

You know who should be ashamed of themselves? Chris Cantillo and Fox30 news! No one should ever put any person or establishment on the spot to donate such a large amount of anything, wether it be money or food and then run to the local media about it when they have to uphold company policy. Chris Cantillo should be ashamed and Fox 30 is just as bad for reporting it. Let me ask you, Will you donate $100 to the March of Dimes right now? Here's the website for you to donate at, http://www.marchofdimes.com/. Oh, you aren't going to?? Well, then I am going to the local news and I am going to tell everyone what a horrible person you are and that you wouldn't donate...... See? It's ridiculous!!!

REALLY? I mean it clearly stated it was one per person for the $1.00 deal. This is just a clear attempt to downplay an awesome sub company. I mean I love Angie's subs too but there is no need for this.

No more Jimmy Johns here they use to be good but the almighty dollar has got in your way. Customer service thumbs down. Sorry the only thing the corporate office will say is, it is their policy. It is all about $$ see you JJ be going to Angies from now on, you will find out in the long run this was a bad decision you made

150 sandwiches in 30 minutes?! Really? Then why does it take you 30 minutes or longer to make 1 sandwich for your everyday customers?

Good job feeding them at Hemming Plaza, and not in Jax Beach. Impact Hemming Plaza and all those tax paying businesses, and keep them out of Jax Beach. The quality of life for the tax paying citizens of Jax Beach is impacted enough already by the bums and criminal homeless. Feeding them is not a solution, nor is herding them into areas of the county. Kudos Jimmy Johns.
