JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Three local students are well on their way to great careers in art.
The three won first, second and third place in the Florida Financial History contest as part of Viva Florida 500.
The contest challenges challenges Florida students to test their knowledge in a coloring, drawing, essay, or video contest.
The first-place prize in the North region went to Miel R., a fifth-grader at Palmer Catholic Academy in Ponte Vedra Beach. The second-place prize went to Ellie M., a fourth-grader from Palmer Catholic Academy. Hendricks Avenue fifth-grader Ashley N., won third place.
