I am all for knowing the proficiency of the teachers. The problem I have is teachers can only do so much with a student that has parents that have not prepared the student. Those that do not follow up on their children's progress. These simply dump their kids on the system and complain when the teachers "fail" to educate them. Common sense is that education begins at home and needs follow up as the kid moves through the required grades. I know there is a program that is "teaching" parents, when will they get "tested" to see IF they are proficient in their parenting?
