as for the car towing a trailer that pulled out & the trailer flipped over,, it would seem the driver either was going to fast as he made his turn pulling out from lord only knows where,, or simply had his trailer loaded top heavy... if you follow the posted & known rules,, the road is safe... you can't fix stupid !!!

it's only a "deadly curve", if you're impaired,, & or speeding,, otherwise it is no more dangerous than any other road curve !!! traffic lights cost a minimum of $100,000.00 apiece,, and are not included in your taxes,, until they are installed & operating !!! the relative of one of the local (key word here ) was one of the victims of this crash & suddenly the local merchants want a light 100 yards down the road from existing traffic signals ??? how about if the city & sherriff simply make this stretch of road a redar zone with zero tolerance & the tickets from speeders will pay the costs of thier salaries ??? as a local,, the "victim" had to be very aware of the curve,, as his families business where he worked was 200 yards up the road,, just past an already existing traffic signal... as for the surf station accident,, the operator was super drunk, as was the owner/passenger of the mercedes that crashed into her shop at 2:00 am in the morning,, long after her shop was closed !!! sober people run traffic lights all day long,, so a traffic signal is not warranted,, enforcement is the key !!!
