JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- There may be clues emerging in cyberspace on Maurice Jones-Drew's plans for this fall, according to Action Sports 360.

The NFL's leading rusher is part of an NFL fantasy football team and he picked himself number one overall in the league draft.

When asked on SiriusXM radio if he'd show up to camp, Mojo responded, "I picked myself first didn't I?"

MJD set off the alarms earlier this year when he didn't show up for a mandatory mini-camp in June. He has two years left on a five year contract, and wants to sign a long-term extension.

The players are supposed to report on Thursday, July 26. That's one week from today. Jaguars training camp begins next Friday.

MJD, you big baby. You have a contract. Just honor it. Then you can find another team (and then good riddance). Although I'm not a Jags fan, I applaud Mr. Khan for deciding to not break! Hurray for him.

What we seem to have here is not only a failure to communicate; but one of a lack of respect, fairness, and the like: MJD is important enough to the Jags to, at least, discuss and resolve this issue. Sure business is business; but, what about common sense. MJD deserves to be one of the highest paid running backs in the game--until his stats and contributions show otherwise--pay the man!

MJD needs to quit acting like a spoiled child and honor his contract. This appears to be all about greed.
