PALM COAST, Fla. -- A grand jury believes there is enough evidence to force a Flagler County man to stand trial on suspicion of killing his roommate.

Erick Elon Niemi, 42, was indicted on capital felony charges Tuesday. Investigators say he killed Leonard Lynn May 29. In an initial report, Lynn was listed as Niemi's landlord.

Lynn, 76, was found in his bedroom. Investigators say they found him with a pillow over his face. Deputies say Niemi admitted to killing the man. They believe it was dispute over the rent. Niemi was discovered driving Lynn's vehicle after the murder, according to deputies.
