JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A local man is in jail on voyeurism charges after authorities say he watched women undress at an area tanning salon.

According to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, Clifton Jameson, 25, watched a woman undress while she was inside a tanning booth at SOL US Tanning on St. Johns Bluff Road. The woman says she saw someone watching her when she looked in a mirror on top of the wall, then got dressed and told an employee.

Authorities say Jameson was identified because he had a tanning contract, a copy of his driver's license and a credit card on file at the tanning salon.

An officer who watched surveillance video from Jameson's other visits to the salon says Jameson was seen looking over the walls of the booths on six days in September and three days in August.

Jameson was arrested Thursday and charged with voyeurism. Police say he told them he was "peeping." His bond was set at $50,000.
