ORANGE PARK, Fla. -- A Jacksonville man is behind bars in Clay County accused of strangling another man to death and leaving him in a motel room.

John Buskager, 22, was arrested Friday afternoon. The victim, who was not identified in the police report, was found dead at the Rodeway Inn Wednesday. Investigators believe Buskager met the victim at the hotel to rob him. During a scuffle, Buskager strangled the man, cleaned up the room, and left.

Buskager is charged with murder, robbery, and grand theft.
