YULEE, Fla. -- A man is in custody after a standoff with police in a hotel. Larry Sanders is now charged with aggravated assault and resisting an officer after police say he barricaded himself in a room in the Pine Forest Motel off Highway 17 Friday night.
The Nassau County Sheriff's Office says they were alerted by a hotel manager of a man barricaded in a room with a gun. Police tried for hours into the night to get Sanders to come out peacefully.
Police are not releasing information on why Sanders was locked inside the room.
