PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. – An 83-year-old man with a history of DUI arrests is facing multiple charges.

Hayne De Yampert McCondichie was arrested after police say he hit a bicyclist, Jennifer Fulton, on Ponte Vedra Boulevard Thursday night.

He is charged with open container of alcohol, DUI, DUI with property damage, DUI with serious injury, driving on a suspended license habitual violator and driving on a suspended license resulting in serious injury.

Fulton, 37, was taken to Baptist Hospital with serious, non-life threatening injuries.

Dr Fulton is a oustanding young doctor at Baptist Hospital. It is a shame that this man is still driveing even though he should not be. The court can take their liscense but it cannot stop them from driving, I wish there was a way that we could!! I pray for her fast recovery, she saved my life when I had a collasped lung.
