Man arrested for shooting woman in Crescent City
CRESCENT CITY, Fla. -- A man from Putnam County is in jail on aggravated battery charges.
Deputies first responded to a home on Lar Lane in Crescent City on Saturday night after getting a 911 hangup call.
They found Paul Harley sitting on a chair just inside the front door. He told deputies he shot a woman.
Deputies found a 52-year-old woman in the bedroom with gunshot wounds to her hip and wrist. She's at UF & Shands Hospital in Gainesville in stable condition.
Harley, 84, is being held without bond.
