Man arrested in sex assault on JU campus
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- An arrest has been made in the kidnapping and sexual assault of a woman on the campus of Jacksonville University.
The suspect has been identified as 23-year-old Ronald Jaye Malloy, Jr. Police say the victim identified him through a lineup.
A woman told police that on the night of August 7 on the Arlington Expressway, a man flashed a gun and forced her into his car. The woman said the man drove her to an isolated area of JU and sexually assaulted her.
Malloy faces armed sexual battery charges.
