TITUSVILLE, Fla. -- A Titusville city worker said he was carjacked at gunpoint while on the job.

Terry Ange said he was approached by a man at Space View Park who demanded money and a ride before he was finally let go.

Ange, driving his city of Titusville work truck, had just finished picking up litter near the river when he stopped to use the restroom at Space View Park.

It was a restroom stop that turned into the most frightening experience of his life.

"He slammed the door on me and he goes, 'You know what this is.' Brought a gun out ... I said, 'Yes, I do,'" Ange said.

Ange said the man, who he later learned was Eric Bryan from Cocoa, demanded money and forced him at gunpoint out of the restroom to his work truck.

"He slid in and he's still going, 'Don't do anything or I'll kill you,'" Ange said.

He claims Bryan grabbed his wallet and took his cash, about $17, then had him drive away from the park.

"He was like 'Let's go to the ATM,'" Ange said.

Ange told him he didn't have an ATM card and told him the truck had GPS tracking.

Bryan had him drive about 2 miles and dumped Ange near Titusville High School.

When police caught up with Bryan a short time later, they had to use a Taser to take Bryan down and arrest him.

A day later, Ange said he is still shaken but thankful he made it out alive.

"I felt like I was in the movies, but I wasn't," Ange said.

Bryan is facing charges for kidnapping and armed robbery.

Police said they recovered the gun which turned out to be a pellet gun that looked like a real gun.
