Man caught drinking & driving on a lawnmower
MARION COUNTY, Fla. -- Deputies in Marion County arrested a man for driving under the influence on a lawnmower.
James David Gray, 68, is facing his 5th DUI offense.
A deputy doing a security check around the Lakes and Meadows subdivision in Citra spotted Gray driving a red lawnmower the wrong direction on Northwest 30th Court. The deputy smelled alcohol on Gray's breath and noticed a can of beer in the cup holder.
Gray had trouble completing the roadside sobriety test. Two separate breathalyzer readings came back 0.138 and 0.147, over the legal limit of .08.
