JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A Jacksonville man has pleaded guilty to charges of petit theft and resisting an officer without violence after stealing from a Home Depot.

Jeffery Jerome Naile is accused of stealing several plants from the Home Depot in Nassau County. The store's clerk found Naile loading the plants into a car after the business had closed for the night. When confronted by police, Naile refused to cooperate with officers.

The 25-year-old was on probation at the time of his arrest for a 2011 DUI conviction. Naile's arrest violated that probation. Naile then showed up to his probation hearing with a .14 blood-alcohol limit and was sent to jail.
