PALATKA, Fla. -- A man was arrested in the Monday morning robbery of a Palatka bingo parlor.
Police identified a suspect Wednesday as Bernard Ash, 24, of Palatka.
Detectives from the Palatka Police Department were assisted by agents from the U. S. Marshall's Office and detectives from the Putnam County Sheriff's Office in tracking Ash to Palatka.
Ash was charged with armed robbery, grand theft, aggravated battery, aggravated assault, possession of firearm by convicted felon as well as an outstanding warrant for sale of cocaine. He is in the Putnam County Jail on no bond.
The investigation is still active and detectives are looking for a second suspect.
