Man charged in death of woman found in garage

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Police have arrested a man in connection with a woman found dead in a garage.

Joshua Whitfield, 21, is accused of killing Kimberly Davis last May.

Police found her body in a garage at West Seventh & Tyler Street.

Authorities arrested Whitfield in St. Augustine.  Detectives found Davis' purse and cellphone in his possession.

Whitfield told police he knew Davis and had been with her.
