Man charged with DUI after deadly crash at the Jacksonville Landing

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A Baker County man has been charged with DUI after allegedly hitting someone with his vehicle near the Jacksonville Landing.

Brian Patterson, 32, was stopped August 10 on Bay Street after a crash. Police say his truck hit a person. According to the police report, Patterson admitted to drinking alcohol at Mavericks before the wreck. Detectives believe Patterson and the victim were involved in a fight at the bar earlier that evening. The victim later died.

Patterson's blood alcohol content level was .127 grams according to the report. The legal limit is .08.

The victim died from being hit, and this drunk has a stupid grin on his face like this? put him in for life...he'll do it again.
