MACCLENNY, Fla. -- A Baker County man was arrested earlier this month after a turtle and a cat were found spray painted.

On May 9, police were called to a home in the 500 block of Ivy Street for an animal complaint. A dark-colored cat had been spray painted silver. A turtle was later found painted the same color.

Mark Jackson Crews, 31, admitted to spray painting that cat but said he thought it was a stray. He also confessed to spray painting the turtle.

He was charged with cruelty to animals.

I'd like to spray paint this idiot...with the words 'looser' across his forehead.

Considering people maim and kill animals this is not news worthy. Hopefully the paint was not toxic and washable.
