Man convicted in 2011 Taco Bell shooting
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A former Taco Bell employee was convicted of Aggravated Assault Friday afternoon for shooting at a fellow employee after an argument in 2011.
In May 2011, Gordon Agenor was working at Taco Bell on Atlantic Boulevard when he got into a physical fight with Marquis Brown, a fellow employee. When the fight was over, Agenor went to his car to get his handgun out of his glove box.
Agenor fired three shots at Brown as he ran across Atlantic Boulevard in broad daylight and during rush hour traffic. Brown admitted he was trying to wound Brown.
Agenor faces a mandatory minimum of 20 years in prison and he will be sentenced in October.
