JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A Jacksonville man has been convicted in the deaths of a woman and her unborn baby.

Andrew Wayne King was convicted for the murders of Felicia Burney and her unborn child. King, 27, was found guilty of murder in the first degree, killing an unborn child and burglary with assault or battery.

King killed Burney in June 2010. At the time of her death, Burney was living in an Arlington home with King's ex-girlfriend. Evidence showed King killed the 23-year-old because he believed she was interfering with his relationship with his ex-girlfriend.

Burney, a mother to three young children, was eight months pregnant when King stabbed her in the neck and chest with a knife.

King faces life in prison. He will be sentenced the week of October 21.

I can't wrap my mind around the fact that the death penalty is off the table for this piece of human garbage!
