Man convicted in stray bullet killing
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A verdict has been reached in a local teen's murder trial.
Jeremiah Corbett was convicted of shooting and killing 14-year-old Horace James Jr. in September of 2010.
Horace was struck by a stray bullet after a fight erupted outside Club Menage, a nightclub. Police say Corbett pulled the trigger.
The jury convicted Corbett of murder, attempted murder, throwing deadly missiles, and possession of a firearm.
He will be sentenced in April. Corbett faces life in prison.
