Man critically hurt when car smashes through home
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- One man was air-lifted to UF Health with life-threatening injuries after crashing into a mobile home in the Westside.
The car wedged underneath a home in the 5200 block of Collins Road late Sunday night.
The car's roof was practically ripped off. The front part of the trailer received significant damage. No one inside the home was hurt.
Police are investigating how fast the man was driving and if alcohol was a factor.
Neighbors say the speed limit for the entire neighborhood is 10 miles-per-hour.
