JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A man who punched a customer at a Westside gas station could face five years in jail.

Stewart Charles Bond, 46, was found guilty in court Friday.

In January, police arrested Bond for hitting a man at the Gate gas station on Collins Road. According to the investigation, the 46-year-old asked Sheldon Bryant a question while they were standing in line. When Bryant failed to answer, Bond hit the victim in the face. He then drove away from the scene.

Bond's driver's license had previously been revoked in 2008 after four DUI convictions.

He will be sentenced on battery charges on October 16, 2012.

If he "drove away" with a suspended license in effect add a couple more years!
