Man faces five years after shoving girlfriend into a cage
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A man faces five years behind bars after being convicted of choking his girlfriend.
Michael Tyson Dilda was convicted of felony battery Friday. Police arrested him in May 2010 after he attacked a woman in front of her 4-year-old son. Investigators say Dilda choked and kicked her before shoving her into a cage. Dilda was previously convicted of domestic battery in 2009.
His sentencing is scheduled for November 19, 2012.
