Man found dead in Oakleaf pool
CLAY COUNTY, Fla. -- A man is dead after being found at the bottom of the Plantation Oaks Athletic Center swimming pool.
The drowning victim, Cornelius Mayo, 42, was spotted at the bottom of the Plantation Oaks pool by a security guard Tuesday night.
Mayo was pulled from the pool by residents, one who is a nurse , and performed CPR in an attempt to save him.
Rescue units arrived and pronounced Mayo dead on the scene. Foul play is not suspected.
