Man found guilty in sexual attack on girl

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A Duval County jury took only 30 minutes to find LeCorey Kedrae Stinson, 20, guilty of a sexual attack on a 16-year-old girl.

Prosecutors say back in April 2011, Stinson forced the teenage girl to have sex with him after becoming enraged when the victim resisted his advances.

The victim knew Stinson through a casual friendship.

During the trial, two other teenage girls testified how Stinson had sexually abused them as well. “Stinson’s motive and plan to rape the victim became quite apparent after her and the two other teenage girls testified,” said Assistant State Attorney Stacie French.

Stinson faces life in prison. He will be sentenced in April.
